My Aunt Brenda and my new uncle Ralph live up in Oregon in, literally, the middle of the forest. But as my aunt came out with her wedding gown on, I had to catch myself from saying aloud, "That's my aunt!" out of surprise. The funny thing is, it wasn't the surprise of seeing my aunt in a dress (which I think I've seen happen three or four times now), but because she looked stunning, like somebody they would use as a model to mold a ceramic figurine. Apparently Owen wasn't as impressed, as he fell asleep during the ceremony (roll over the first picture for some fun).
Sometimes in life you'll find vows and speeches at weddings that may be true and heartfelt, but they may seem forced. I don't remember any more heartfelt words confessing their feelings than I did at this one. Love is good....
